Searching For Never, Never Land

John Land

A memoir of being lost and found

Published by TWS Publishing

About the Book

Searching for Never, Never Land is a raw and compelling memoir set against the restless backdrop of the late 1960s and early ’70s. John Land’s story reflects a generation searching for peace, freedom, and a return to something lost.

Drawn into the counterculture of the time, he chased every promise that claimed to lead back to paradise—music, drugs, mysticism, and rebellion. Each path offered hope, yet none could satisfy the deeper longing within. The further he searched, the more elusive peace became.

Yet even in the chaos—through heartbreak, danger, and moments that came close to ending everything—there was a Presence that never let him go. What began as a journey of escape slowly revealed itself as something far greater: a story not of finding, but of being found.

Candid, unfiltered, and deeply human, this memoir captures both the broken dreams of a generation and the relentless love of God that remains present through it all.
